The X-Men are back from space, but even home in the mansion, they don't get a break. As the team try to have a relaxing picnic by the lake, a ghost from Logan's past attacks: CAPTAIN CANADA! Wait... (checking my notes)... I mean, WEAPON ALPHA! With that threat dealt with, maybe the mutants can finally unwind with a game of baseball? NOPE! The X-Men can't even call a telephone repairman without having their own Danger Room turned against them. Will the team ever get a break? Not this week! But at least Beth and Seanny get to take joy in their suffering.

The girls are LOSING their MINDS! Beth is back from Tasmania and not mentally prepared to deal with whatever the hell is going on in Bill Mantlo’s fill in issue. Our merry mutants must face off with themselves! Again! Don’t worry about it! Luckily, Claremont returns by sending the X-Men into space where they face the Imperial Guard, wind up inside the M’Kraan crystal, and knit the fabric of the entire universe back together. DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT! It’s no biggie. I love this comic but my brain hurts!In this issue:

-Jean is literally unstoppable as Phoenix and can apparently do anything!

They’re good kids, but Cyclops hasn’t prepared them for this! Making their escape, they plunge headfirst into battle with Firelord, the (former) herald of Galactus and just a big of a hot-head as you would imagine.
